- I've just uploaded FreeNet to /pub/archimedes/incoming for peoples
- delectation :-)
-
- For those who don't know already, FreeNet is a freeware replacement for
- Acorn's TCP/IP stack, which provides a BSD sockets interface for
- programmers, and uses existing DCI-2 hardware drivers, so it should work
- with current ethernet cards, as well as with SLIP using the supplied
- driver.
-
- There are actually two archives - freenet013.arc which is the stack
- itself, and freeterm011.arc which is a terminal emulator for use with
- it. I'd suggest putting them both in a subdirectory of developers
- called freenet, giving:
-
- ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/archimedes/developers/freenet/freenet013.arc
- ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/archimedes/developers/freenet/freeterm011.arc
